Our staff is eager and ready to serve you on your upcoming getaway to Boothbay Harbor, Maine! To help us do so, we’d ask that you take a moment to read through our policies and familiarize yourself with what to expect when you visit our coastal Maine hotel.

Reservation Policies

Reservations are accepted on a space-available basis. Specific location requests are honored whenever possible, but not guaranteed. In the event that a particular room is not available, we reserve the right to place you in the most similar accommodations available.

A deposit equal to 50% of your stay plus tax is required to confirm reservations and will be charged to your credit card at the time the reservation is made. For one-night stays booked within three days of arrival, the full amount of the stay will be collected at the time a reservation is made.

If you book a non-refundable, Advance Purchase Rate, 100% of the rate will be charged to your credit card at the time the reservation is made. Advance Purchase Rates require 21 day advance purchase. Full payment taken at the time of booking. No refunds, changes, or cancellations may be made after booking.

Cancellation Policy

  • Starting from December 28, 2023 through the full season our policy for cancellation remains the same as always. 10 Calendar Days before arrival (any time after you make a reservation), there is a $50 cancel fee.
  • Cancellations made less than 10 calendar days before arrival will forfeit the 50% deposit.
  • Cancellations made on the day of arrival will be charged for entire stay (including tax).
  • Date changes are free of charge but the rate on the new dates may be higher or lower.
  • Changes must be made 10 days before arrival only. Our highest priority is your comfort and safety and please be assured that we are doing everything possible to meet your needs and to exceed your expectations.

Check-In/Checkout

Check-in time is after 3:00 p.m. Although the availability of rooms is not assured prior to 3 p.m. we will make every effort to accommodate you.

Checkout time is 11:00 a.m. If Checkout is after 12:00 p.m., a $40 fee will be charged. If Checkout is after 3:00 p.m., a full day rate will be charged.

Additional Adults and Children

There is a $30.00 charge for each additional adult in a double occupancy room. We are a kid-friendly hotel, so children 12 years of age and under stay free in their parents’ room. Children 13 – 17 are charged $30.00 extra per night. Please note there is a maximum of four people per room unless otherwise noted.

Pet Policy

We do allow dogs and cats in certain room types (Please see room descriptions for details). Our pet policy is maximum two pets under 50lbs with a $50 per night fee per pet. Bringing pets in our rooms without our consent is against our policy and will incur a penalty fee of $300.00.

  • A credit card number will be taken as a damage deposit and returned to you after room inspection, if no damages have occurred.
  • Adult dogs and cats only, no more than 2 pets per unit, a 50 LB weight limit applies for all dogs.
  • Dogs cannot be left alone in rooms if you leave the property. This rule is strongly enforced and guests who do not comply will be charged an additional fee. We have many resources for “Doggie-Day Care.” Please inquire when making reservation. Cats need to be crated when left alone in rooms.
  • Pets must be leashed at all times.
  • Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and disposing of waste in the proper container located in our pet exercise area.
  • If your dog is noisy and is disturbing other guests, you may be asked to leave (no refunds on shortened stays).
  • Please immediately report any “accidents” that occur in your unit, so that our staff can attend to them right away.
  • No pets on the bed. Please bring your bed/blanket from home.
  • Our nice fluffy towels are for people, if your pet needs to be dried off after a day at the beach. Please bring his favorite towel from home.
  • No pets allowed in or on pool deck.
  • Upon check out your unit will be inspected for any damages made and you will be responsible for those damages.
  • A $200 cleaning fee will incur for pets in non pet-friendly rooms.

We accept MasterCard, VISA, AMEX, and Discover. Please note that all published and/or quoted room rates are subject to Maine State Sales Tax (currently 9%).
